Hier même dans ma prière au chapelet j´ai demandé aide à Marie pour obtenir une réponse de la Terre Sainte du Liban. Notre- Dame à ecouté mes prières ! J´ai deux pays dans mon coeur: Portugal et le Liban. Deux pays unis par la fort dévotion à la Mère du Christ. Je m´appele Carlos, je suis étudiant de Théologie et j´habite au nord du Portugal. Je suis à faire un étude sur les Sanctuaires de la Sainte Vierge au Liban. Le liban c´est la "Terre de Marie". La sainte Vierge est partout !
Dans le futur je veux publier un travail sur ce sujet. Maintenant je cherche documentation.
Avez-vous quelque livre sur les Sanctuaires de la Sainte Vierge au Liban ? J´aimerai beaucoup avoir une bonne photo de l´icône de Notre-Dame venerée au Sanctuaire de Saydet Chahlo, dans le quartier de Zouk. Par Dieu, aide- moi !

I’m searching for father’s maternal family, the last name TABET. My father left Lebanon 30 years ago to USA... he had an accident here and was hospitalized and lost contact of his family. His mother’s name I think sthg like Najla or Najwa. I’m not sure, but my father said the Tabet family from "Bhamdoum", "Bourjayne" or a different one that is close in name. When she married, his dad (John Hanna Joseph abdel Ahad) they lived in Beirut. Also something about St.Georges church, I don’t understand this mean ing... my father is Maronite catholic he was born on November 22, 1943.
Also he said before his parents were married my grandmother was a widow, and had 2 older kids from previous marriage (he don’t remember their names). He said stgh like her 1st husband family was Moslem??
(Everything I know is from my father who is 60 with a bad memory. So please if anything sounds familiar reply... my father would like to know how all in his family are. what happened to his parents... and I would love to get to know his family as well.

Dear Elie. Je vais m'exprimer en français c'est plus facile pour moi. Je suis effectivement de Kobayat, je suis la fille de Charles Daher, tous les anciens de Kobayat doivent le connaître, il était dans l'armée, ma mère n'est pas du village et malheureusement depuis que je suis mariée mes relations avec le village sont coupées. Mon père est décédé depuis quelques années et, comme mon mari est de Beyrouth, j'ai plus de raison d'aller à Kobayat mais... mon coeur est toujours accroché à mon village.
Je suis diplômée en sciences économiques et j'enseigne au lycée français de Nahr Ibrahim et à l'école de Saint-Michel de zouk Mikaël. J'ai des terminales, des secondes et des sixièmes. J'aimerai pouvoir organiser, comme début une sortie à mes élèves à Kobayat. J'aimerai que quelqu'un me conseille les lieux stratégiques à faire visiter à mes élèves, une sortie doit avoir un but pédagogique avant tout. N’oublie pas que le lycée est une école laïque mais bien sur j'en profiterai pour visiter des églises surtout celle ou j'ai été baptisée, j'aimerai emmener mes enfants aussi un jour. Alors quelles sont tes idées pour un parcours pédagogique (municipalité, usines, centres culturels, musées, sites protégés etc...) je ne sais pas si tu pourrais m'aider surtout que le thème du lycée cette année c'est la faune et la flore, le site que j'ai découvert dans une recherche sur les maronites m'a réjoui le coeur, que Dieu vous protège !
